Issues #261 and #262
Betty and Veronica is a spin off from the long running Archie Andrews radio show and comic book (created 1941). These two issues have a storyline which "borrows" heavily from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and shows an obvious Vampirella-clone on the cover of issue #261.

Betty and Veronica in "Fangs a Lot, Vampironica." Vampires in Riverdale? Where's a slayer when you need one? Last we saw the girls, they had befriended some nice vampires down by the beach.
