PENCIL AND PAINT - THE ART OF VAMPIRELLA
There are many artists who have depicted Vampirella since her launch in 1969. As a popular and iconic figure there have been many different renditions of her, some of which have strayed far from the expected norms.
Regrettably, in an attempt to sell their work via eBay and similar online sites, some artists have focused purely on the erotic aspects of Vampirella. I have seen "Vampirella in the nude" drawings which could be any female form with long dark hair; I have seen pornographic / hentai style Vampirellas, which, again, could be any female character; I have seen many depictions which exaggerate Vampirella's "charms" to the extent of deformity! I am not a prude, and have seen some absolutely stunning pieces of art which have followed this route.
This site is for the true Vampirella aficionado, their friends and family, and as such I have made the decision NOT to include any artwork that is liable to cause concern to younger viewers and those with delicate sensibilities.
The artwork included on this site comes from many years of trawling the internet, and the primary focus is on the innate beauty of Vampirella, and the many facets of her personality. What you won't find in this section is artwork taken from the comic books themselves, rather I am including artwork you may never have been aware of or seen.
Most of the pictures displayed are click-able links which will open into a new window with a larger and more detailed view of the artwork. If in doubt, click and see what happens!
If any of the artists I have featured below would like to send me a few words on their particular approach to depicting Vampirella I will happily add their comments to the site! Or you could post me some original artwork of Vampirella so I can scan it and include it on the site ;-) !

I have no other information on the creator of this piece of digital art, but it is surely worth a mention if only for the incredibly fine detail that has gone into this picture.
