Breygent Series 1
After a fourteen year hiatus Dynamite Entertainment teamed up with Breygent Marketing to produce a new set of Vampirella trading cards.
The full standard set consists of 72 standard cards, fifteen Vampirella 3-D lenticular cards, nine puzzle chase cards, and three Joe Jusko chase cards, plus randomly inserted autographs and Sketch Art Cards™, Puzzle Sketch Art Cards™ plus a few promos. A limited number of cards were available signed by the respective artists and models and randomly inserted into packs of cards as were a number of Sketch Art Cards (and Puzzle Sketch Art Cards).
This was a novel idea which, no doubt, generated a lot of income. Invitations were sent out to the art community to provide original artwork on a blank faced trading card - the Vampirella Sketch Art cards. This resulted in a huge amount of original art from about ninety artists, both established and new.
Dealers (and individuals) could buy cases of sketch art cards but it was pot-luck as to who/what you got. Some of the cards sold for a pittance, some for hundreds of dollars.
On the good side it gave fans of all economic backgrounds a chance to buy original art to suit their personal budget. On the negative side there many, many cards and they were all unique so it is impossible for one avid collector to have a copy of each one.
I have no idea of the total number of sketch art cards produced as some artists only made a few (e.g. Tim Shay - 10; Gary Kezele - 16) and others created many (e.g. Rainier Lagunsad. - 100; Dennis M. Crisostomo. - 101).

Puzzle chase set
A set of nine cards (VP-1 to VP-9) which when arranged correctly form one picture.
