This is an original pen drawing by artist Mark Texeira of the sexy temptress, created on the back of a beer coaster. Yes, a beer coaster! While dining and drinking at the Heartland Restaurant under the Empire State Building in NYC with fellow artists Ray Lago and Rick Bryant, Tex created this very lovely rendition of the voluptuous Vampi about to savor her drink of "wine"! This circular "HEARTLAND BREWERY" coaster has a diameter of 4".
So read the description in the eBay advert for the first of the three Texeira beer mats (or "beer coaster" in the USA). There have been a couple of other Texiera beer mats listed - none of which I won!
I do like the smiling, happy renditions of Vampirella he has drawn on these coasters. It's not often you get to see a cheerful Vampirella, usually she's portrayed as being sultry, serious or vicious.

Ray Lago
Presumably, the first coaster was done at the same time as one of the other coasters I have listed ... or not! Either way this is a beautiful rendition of Vampirella by an artist who has an uncanny ability to portray beautiful women.
The second coaster was done "While dining and drinking at the Heartland Restaurant under the Empire State Building in NYC with fellow artist Mike Bair, the lovely model Silke and her husband, and Vampirella historian Sean Fernald, Ray drew this lovely rendition of the voluptuous Vampi savouring her drink of 'wine'".
I assume the third coaster was also done in the same sort of situation as the others...

This is an original pencil drawing by artist Louis Small, created on the back of a beer coaster! While dining and hanging out with fellow artist Ray Lago in NYC, Louis created this very sexy drawing of the lovely Vampirella enjoying her glass of "wine".
This circular "De Koninck" coaster has a diameter of 4.25".
Another eBay item that managed to evade me! Oh well, I suppose as long as Vampirella artists continue to drink they will continue to doodle on coasters.
Pauli (a.k.a. Skully)
Original Art Vampirella coaster by Pauli (aka Skully). This is a beatuiful pen sketch of Vampirella by a talented up and coming artist! The back of the coaster is for Stella Artois beer.
I'm not sure who Pauli/ Skully is but I agree that (s)he has talent, though the beer mat idea isn't new.
One to keep an eye out for...
